Searching Tools:

Repository@USM – to search for  USM internal archives and theses
MyTO – to search for Malaysian theses
ProQuest Dissertations & Theses Global, NLDTS – to search for International theses
DOAJ, Open Access Button, Unpaywall, Open Knowledge Maps – to search for open access articles
Google Scholar, Microsoft Academic – to search for scholarly articles worldwide
MyCite – to search for scholarly articles published by local journals
Web of Science, Scopus – to search for highly cited articles (indexed bibliographies)
Figshare – to search for scholarly materials include datasets, poster, media, figure, code

Writing Tools:
smmry – to summarize articles for easy reading
Endnote, Mendeley – to manage your articles (pdf) and bibliography
Mindmeister – to create mind map for your research workflow
Dropbox ,Google Drive, Mega – to store your materials on cloud
SPSS,NVIVO – to analyze your data
Turnitin – to check plagiarism

Publication Tools:
JCR, Scimago, DOAJ, MyCite – to evaluate the quality of journals
Springer Journal Suggester, Elsevier Journal Finder, Endnote Journal Match – to suggest you the relevant journals to publish based on your manuscript
SciRev , MedSci – to identify about the period of reviewing process
Sherpa Romeoto show the copyright and open access self-archiving policies of academic journals

Research Monitoring & Sharing Tools:
Mendeley, ResearchGate, LinkedIn – Scientific social network
Researcher ID, Scopus ID, Google Scholar ID, Orcid ID – Researcher profile platforms
